Nicephore Niepce

Nicephore Niepce (March 7, 1765-July 5, 1833)

Nicephore is a famous inventer from france who caught the first image ever of the worlds first combustion engine.

View From A Window At Le Gras.
This is the earliest known photograph that we have recording of to this day. This photo was taken at  Saint-Loup-de-Varennes, within a region of Bourgogne.

He then suprised us again with what is believed to be the worlds first etching of Pope Pius v||.

He made these etchings through tracing out the morphed image of camera obscura.this obviously took a very long time, and probably a lot of passion. If it weren't for his bug for the revolution of photography, the world of photography either wouldn't be the same...or someone else would have done it. None the less, he changed the game of catching an image !
